Abstract

HIV/AIDS masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat dengan tren kasus yang selalu meningkat, terutama di wilayah Indonesia. Tahun 2021, tercatat 42.652 kasus HIV/AIDS, sedangkan pada tahun 2022 tercatat 62.296 kasus HIV/AIDS, dan tahun 2023 tercatat 73.709 kasus HIV/AIDS. Faktor demografi seperti kepadatan penduduk serta usia produktif berpotensi memengaruhi distribusi kasus HIV/AIDS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan distribusi spasial HIV/AIDS di Kabupaten Gresik tahun 2021-2023 serta menganalisis keterkaitan kasus dengan kepadatan penduduk serta usia produktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasional ekologi dengan menggunakan data sekunder Dinas Kesehatan serta BPS Kabupaten Gresik. Variabel dependen adalah jumlah kasus HIV/AIDS, sedangkan variabel independennya meliputi kepadatan penduduk (jiwa/km²) dan jumlah usia produktif (15-49 tahun). Analisis spasial dilakukan dengan aplikasi QGIS untuk membuat peta tematik serta interpretasi hubungan spasial antar variabel. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa adanya tren peningkatan kasus HIV/AIDS di Kabupaten Gresik sebesar 104 kasus pada tahun 2021, 142 kasus pada tahun 2022, dan 158 kasus pada tahun 2023 dengan konsentrasi di Kecamatan Cerme, Manyar, dan Kebomas. Kasus lebih banyak ditemukan di wilayah dengan jumlah usia produktif besar, tetapi kepadatan penduduk tinggi tidak selalu berkorelasi dengan jumlah kasus, sebagaimana terlihat di Kecamatan Gresik. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi bahwa pemetaan berbasis SIG dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi wilayah prioritas intervensi.

HIV/AIDS remains a public health issue with an increasing trend in cases, especially in Indonesia. In 2021, there were 42,652 HIV/AIDS cases, while in 2022 there were 62,296 cases, and in 2023 there were 73,709 cases. Demographic factors such as population density and the proportion of individuals in productive age groups have the potential to influence the distribution of HIV/AIDS cases. This study aimed to map the spatial distribution of HIV/AIDS in Gresik Regency from 2021 to 2023 and analyze the relationship between case distribution, population density, and productive age. The method used in this study was an ecological observational design using secondary data from the Gresik Regency Health Office and the Statistics Agency. The dependent variable was the number of HIV/AIDS cases, while the independent variables included population density (people/km²) and the number of people of productive age (15–49 years). Spatial analysis was performed using QGIS to create thematic maps and interpret spatial relationships between variables. The results showed an increasing trend in HIV/AIDS cases in Gresik Regency, with 104 cases in 2021, 142 cases in 2022, and 158 cases in 2023, concentrated in the Cerme, Manyar, and Kebomas subdistricts. More cases were found in areas with a larger productive-age population, although high population density did not consistently correspond to higher case numbers, as observed in the Gresik subdistrict. These findings demonstrate that GIS-based mapping is useful for identifying priority areas for intervention.
