Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TBC) merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Remaja termasuk kelompok rentan yang memiliki peran penting dalam upaya pencegahan penularan TBC di lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat. Edukasi kesehatan yang menarik dan interaktif dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran mereka terhadap pencegahan penyakit ini. Tinjauan literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas edukasi kesehatan melalui media video dan metode diskusi kelompok kecil dalam meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap pencegahan TBC. Metode penelusuran literatur dilakukan melalui database seperti Google Scholar, PubMed, dan ScienceDirect berdasarkan publikasi tahun 2017–2025 dengan kata kunci “edukasi kesehatan”, “media video”, “diskusi kelompok kecil”, dan “tuberkulosis pada remaja” dengan menggunakan PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) sebagai protokol penelitian. Hasil dari berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan daya tarik peserta, sedangkan diskusi kelompok kecil mendorong partisipasi aktif serta perubahan sikap yang lebih bermakna. Kombinasi kedua metode ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan perilaku pencegahan TBC di kalangan remaja. Oleh karena itu, strategi edukasi berbasis media audiovisual dan interaksi kelompok kecil dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif dalam program promosi kesehatan di sekolah.

Tuberculosis  is one of the infectious diseases that remains a public health problem in Indonesia. Adolescents are a vulnerable group that plays an important role in preventing the spread of TB in schools and communities. Engaging and interactive health education is needed to raise their awareness of TB prevention. This literature review aims to analyze the effectiveness of health education through video media and small group discussion methods in increasing adolescent awareness of TB prevention. The literature search method was conducted through databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect based on publications from 2017 to 2025 with the keywords “health education,” “video media,” “small group discussion,” and “tuberculosis in adolescents” using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) as the research protocol. The results of various studies show that the use of video media can increase participants' understanding and interest, while small group discussions encourage active participation and more meaningful attitude changes. The combination of these two methods is considered effective in increasing awareness and TB prevention behavior among adolescents. Therefore, audiovisual media-based education and small group interaction strategies can be used as innovative alternatives in school health promotion programs.
